Chip Wade, Designer and HGTV host, Shares MoistureShield® Composite Decking with CoolDeck® Technology on Fox & Friends
Chip Wade, former HGTV host and owner of Wade Works Design of Atlanta, appeared live on Fox Network’s “Fox & Friends Sunday” on May 17th to discuss tips for outdoor spaces. Chip used his own “Misty Mill” renovated lake cabin in Georgia to show how to get the most out of your deck. The gorgeous cabin features MoistureShield Vision® capped wood composite decking with CoolDeck technology, which reduces heat absorption by up to 35% compared to standard capped composites in a similar color.
Chip pointed out MoistureShield’s extreme moisture-resistance and splinter-free features as reasons he loves it for the outdoor shower that his kids use when they come off the lake. Vision with CoolDeck was also used for the cabin’s boat house and docks to replace splintered pine. Along with Vision, Chip showed samples of MoistureShield’s new Elevate™ capped composite decking, which allows homeowners to upgrade to a capped product at an entry-level price point. Elevate is available in four colors, classic Canoe and Lake Fog, and new variegated colors of Alpine Gray and Riverbank, with tropical hardwood looks.
